Reel-to-Reel Plating – Expanding the Service Portfolio

C. Jentner is expanding its reel-to-reel plating capacity. A second line, supplied by KF Industrieanlagen GmbH, will go into operation in December 2026. The new processing limits: material thickness of up to 2 mm and a strip height of up to 120 mm. Compared to the existing line – previously 1 mm material thickness and 80 mm strip height – this opens up a significantly wider range of component profiles.
Extended Parts Spectrum
Together, both lines will serve a broader range of strip material: from delicate contact and precision stamped parts to wider profiled strips in steel, stainless steel and non-ferrous metals. The coating program includes silver, matte tin and bright tin, bright nickel, nickel sulfamate and thiol-based passivation – each available as full strip or selective coating.
Traceability and Quality Management
Full traceability is standard in the new line as well. The digital production system records all process parameters without gaps – as is standard for all processes at the Pforzheim site. The quality management system is certified to DIN EN 9100, supplemented by certifications to ISO 14001 and ISO 50001.
